Heli-Skiing on the Ruitor Glacier.
What's to say?
You've just been dropped at the top of an unmarked powder field, you duck your head into your collar against the spume and clatter from the helicopter's blades as it lifts and heads down to the collection point. The cacophony dies to a thrum and then fades to silence as your lift disappears over the shoulder of the mountain. Your guide gathers your group together and begins to outline your descent route . . . bliss!
Talk to your hosts, Emma & Ryan for more information about heliski touring.
Off-piste and glacier skiing requires a reasonable level of fitness and skill, you'll also need specific safety, search and rescue equipment. If you don't have your own, we can supply equipment packs to meet the requirements.
The Ski schools are agents for the helicopter operators, ask us for details on booking. |
